    • She is passionate about the field of genetic counseling for its unique intersection of science, research, education, and advocacy.
  • Vivian Duong: Originally from Dallas, Vivian earned a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with a concentration in Medical Neuroscience in 2022 from the University of Texas at Dallas.
    • She received a Master of Public Health in Public Health Genetics with a Graduate Certificate in Health Equity from the University of Pittsburgh in 2024.
    • She is interested in pursuing pediatric
      eurogenetics.
  • Emily Helm: Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Emily graduated from Baylor University with concentrations in Biology and Medical Humanities.
    • She worked as a Registered Behavior Technician and volunteered as an English tutor for ESL adults.
    • She is inspired by the ability of genetic counselors to enable informed decision making for patients of all backgrounds.
  • Yasmine Luna: Born and raised in El Paso, TX, Yasmine graduated from New Mexico State University with a major in Kinesiology and a concentration in Exercise Science.
    • She aspires to bridge the gap in genetic counseling services in underserved communities like her hometown.
    • She is thrilled to be part of UT Southwestern's Genetic Counseling Program inaugural cohort.
  • Jordan Murphy: From Athens, Georgia, Jordan attended the University of Georgia to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and a certificate in Disability Studies.
    • She was a clinical and research intern at Emory University's Lysosomal Storage Disease and Genetic Clinical Trials Center.
    • She is passionate about working with the disability community.
  • Courtney Singleton: From Gilbert, Arizona, Courtney studied biology with a minor in psychology at Southern Virginia University.
    • She worked as a genetic counseling assistant at a cancer center in her hometown.
