The Gold Scholarship Programme

The Gold Scholarship Programme is a holistic package of financial and pastoral support, including access to mentors, networking events, and skills sessions. Each year, 50 new students from disadvantaged backgrounds receive this scholarship.

  • One scholarship per year is ringfenced for refugees and asylum seekers.
• The programme is supported by regular giving to the Alumni Fund, individual philanthropy, corporate partners, and legacy gifts.

Placement Grants

The Alumni Fund grant supports students during their placements, providing them with special experiences and skills.

• For example, a student who received the Alumni Fund Placement Grant had the opportunity to work at Hibernian Football Club, filming for the Europa Conference League qualifying games and being involved in the recruitment of a new manager and players.

Student Experience

The Access Fund allows students to pursue their passions and interests, such as salsa, by paying for competition equipment and travel.

Golden Opportunities

The Gold Opportunities Fund supports students in undertaking transformative placements, such as in the House of Commons.
