Program Overview
Introduction to Green Impact
Green Impact is a staff sustainability programme designed to empower and encourage sustainable action while building community across the university. The programme aims to make sustainability practical, achievable, and inclusive for every member taking part.
Programme Overview
The idea behind Green Impact is simple: break the University's sustainability goals into manageable actions, and empower staff to take part in ways that suit their roles, schedules, and capacity. The university worked with SOS-UK, a student-led charity, to create an online toolkit for staff that reflects the climate action principles.
Programme Structure
The programme features a tiered awards system based on points after submission. Student auditors volunteer their time to verify the evidence teams have provided.
