- recognize common, benign, non-melanocytic tumors of the skin
- recognize the dermatoscopic patterns of malignant non-melanocytic skin tumors
- recognize the dermatoscopic patterns of moles
- manage moles correctly, avoiding unnecessary medical procedures
- recognize melanoma from the earliest stage
- distinguish the dermatoscopic patterns of different pigmented tumors of the face
- distinguish the dermatoscopic patterns of various pigmented tumors of the extremities
- distinguish the possible causes of striatal melanonychia
- distinguish the possible causes of mucosal pigmentation
- recognize melanomas with unclear morphological criteria
- approach diagnostics and manage non-pigmented tumors
- recognize unusual skin tumors
- recognize dermatoscopic patterns of various inflammatory dermatoses
- diagnostically approach patients by age group
- diagnostically approach patients by phototype
- manage patients with multiple nevi
- apply digital imaging and follow-up
- use dermatoscopy in the evaluation of therapeutic outcome in non-melanocytic tumors
- apply clinical rules to avoid underdiagnosis of melanoma
- critically interpret histopathological findings of skin tumors
- make decisions about patient management in problematic scenarios
- use electronic databases and interactive applications related to dermatoscopy
- critically review the literature in the field and identify potential gaps that generate new research ideas
- manage technical and software problems used
- offer consultative opinion to colleagues on the dermatoscopy
- understand the medical responsibility associated with the use of dermatoscopy and the examination of the population
