Program Overview


Greek Language and Pop Culture Program

The "Greek Language and Pop Culture" course brings the language to life through songs, movies, TV series, comics, and memes. It is addressed to students at levels B2–C2 and offers a creative, interactive learning experience that combines language skills with an understanding of contemporary Greek society.

Required Documents

  1. Certificate of Studies: A secondary education certificate that allows access to higher education in your country or a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD diploma. The document must be verified as authentic and officially translated into Greek or English.
  2. Copy of Passport, ID Card, or Residence Permit
  3. Recent Photograph (passport or ID type)
  4. Proof of Payment of the 50€ Registration Fee

Program Requirements

  • Attendance: Compulsory attendance for at least 80% of the total hours of the course.
  • Equipment: PC or Laptop, Skype or Zoom, Camera and Microphone (obligatory activation during the course), Word and PowerPoint (or equivalents).
  • Justification of Absences: Must be submitted by email to the Secretariat immediately upon the student's return.

Evaluation and Certification

  • Final Grade: Calculated 60% from the student's performance in class throughout the course and 40% from the student's performance in the written examinations.
  • Certificate of Attendance: Emailed after the end of the course. Students who have pending issues will not receive the certificate of attendance until they have settled their pending issues.

Prohibited Actions

  • Taking photographs and filming the course.
  • Using a mobile phone during the course.
  • Any form of violence, physical or verbal, as well as any insult or threat to other members of the class.
