Program Overview

The Center for Education and Lifelong Learning of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki offers a comprehensive training program titled "Machine Learning: Application in the Classroom through Sustainability and Culture Activities." This 414-hour course is designed to enhance educators' knowledge with innovative techniques and cutting-edge tools, focusing on robotics, artificial intelligence, interactive whiteboards, gamification, environmental education, active citizenship initiatives, and cultural activities.


Program Details

Duration and Cost

  • The program duration is from 28 April 2025 to 27 December 2025.
  • The total cost of the program is 500, with options for payment in installments.
  • A discount policy is in place, with categories including employees of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, students, individuals with disabilities, unemployed individuals, European Youth Card holders, and families with multiple children.

Implementation Method

  • The program will be conducted primarily asynchronously and remotely through a digital learning platform.
  • There will be two mandatory synchronous sessions, one midway through the program and one at the end, designed for Q&A, knowledge sharing, and experience exchange among participants and instructors.

Certificate and ECTS

  • Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Certificate of Specialized Training, issued by the Center for Education and Lifelong Learning of the AUTH, and 14 ECTS credits.

Target Audience

  • The program is designed for educators of all levels, including Early Childhood, Primary, and Secondary Education.
  • It is also intended for Special Education teachers, educators interested in STEAM and Innovation, those with a focus on Sustainability, and educators passionate about Culture.

Selection Criteria

  • Applicants must have a university degree.
  • Access to the internet, a personal email, and basic computer skills are required.

Modules and Educational Materials

  • The program includes weekly educational materials such as video tutorials, PowerPoint presentations, supplementary resources, and self-assessment quizzes.
  • Participants will receive specialized training certificates and have the opportunity to participate in an online forum for discussion and knowledge exchange.

Liabilities and Rights of Trainees

  • Trainees are obligated to participate in the program, not exceed 10% absences, pass exams, and pay all tuition fees.
  • They have the right to be informed about the program, receive electronic support, apply for interruption or termination of their program attendance, and have their work protected under Copyright Regulations.

  • The program is governed by the Regulation of Studies of the Center for Education and Lifelong Learning of the AUTH.
