Program Overview
The LEAP program, offered by the Center for Education and Lifelong Learning of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, is a 471-hour, 3-course program designed to bridge the gap between academic education and the demands of the labor market in the ICT sector.

Aim and Objectives
The program aims to equip students, graduates, and professionals with up-to-date skills in Data Analysis, Machine Learning, Statistics, Programming, and Complex Systems. It emphasizes experiential learning and the practical application of knowledge in realistic scenarios and industry-relevant challenges.
Target Audience
The program is aimed at adult learners (18+) holding at least a secondary school leaving certificate, regardless of academic or professional background. It is open to any adult learner motivated to acquire new, in-demand competencies.

- Basic computer skills Selection is made on a first-come, first-served basis until the maximum number of participants has been reached.
Format
- Remote (100% online), asynchronous learning
Modules
The program includes three courses:
- Data Analytics and Statistics (108 hours)
- Machine Learning and applications (108 hours)
- Complex Systems and applications (96 hours) Each course awards a certificate worth 5 ECTS credits. Participants may choose to attend any number/combination of the available courses.
Educational Materials/Benefits
- Course material (text-based): Lecture notes, presentation slides, e-books, fully worked step-by-step exercises, user guides, and tutorials.
- Audio-visual material: Pre-recorded lectures, guest lectures, screen recordings, or software demonstrations.
- Supportive and Exploratory Resources: Curated lists of external content, simulations, and interactive environments.
- For Practice, Consolidation, and Self-assessment: Quizzes, hands-on coding exercises, experiential and collaborative activities.
Liabilities
- Obligations of Trainees: Full acceptance of the program's Study Guide, mandatory presence/attendance, successful completion of the program.
- Rights of Trainees: Informed by the Department of Administrative Support, supported electronically, work protected under Copyright Regulations.
Certificate
After successful completion of the program, participants receive a Certificate of Training, issued by the Center for Education and Lifelong Learning of the AUTH and signed by the President of the Center.
Participation Cost
All 3 courses of the program are free.
