Engaged Medievalisms Summer School
The Engaged Medievalisms summer school is a program that explores the reuse and reinterpretation of medieval materials in contemporary contexts. The program is co-organized by the University of Lausanne and the University of Grenoble Alpes.
Objectives
The program has three main objectives:
- To bring together young researchers and have them engage in dialogue with specialists from various disciplines.
- To stimulate reflection on the scientific and societal issues of the proposed training.
- To accompany students in the development of a future scientific or professional project.
Program
The program includes conferences, debates, and workshops, and is open to students of all levels (bachelor's, master's, and doctoral). The program is taught in French and English, and participants are expected to actively participate in the workshops and discussions.
Credits
Participants can earn 3 ECTS credits for their participation in the program, which includes:
- Reading assignments before the summer school
- Preparing oral presentations during the workshops
- Writing reflective syntheses (12 pages) after the summer school
Fees
The program fee is CHF 60, which includes:
