Program Overview


Business finance

Corporate finance focuses on investment, financing and distribution policies. The objective of the module is to provide the tools necessary for the analysis of these policies as well as determine their effects on the value of the company.


Presentation of the training

This short training course addresses the practice of corporate finance from the point of view of the corporate practitioner and the banker. First, fundamental concepts such as net present value and internal rate of return are covered. Then, the training offers an analysis of the company's financial policies and their effects on the value of the company, focusing in particular on the effects of taxation, bankruptcy costs and agency conflicts between different participants of the company. More advanced topics such as IPOs and mergers and acquisitions will also be covered.

  • Master the tools for evaluating and analyzing investment and financing projects.
  • Design an optimal capital structure linked to financing decisions based on the size of the company.
  • Define an optimal dividend policy taking into account current results and expected prospects.
