Program Overview
The M2 Innovations technologiques santé et cognition (TeSC) is a master's program offered by the University of Lyon 1. This program is specifically designed to form researchers who can evaluate the effectiveness of tools used in rehabilitation and health, utilizing new technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and robotics.
Program Description
The TeCS program is a multidisciplinary formation at the interface of rehabilitation, neuroscience, neuro-rehabilitation, psychology, and health. The objective is to respond to the new need for research in rehabilitation and health by forming individuals who can assess the effectiveness of evaluation and remediation tools using new technologies.
Organization
The Master 2 program is constituted by:
- A common core for the three paths (HSCo, Rehab, Tecs): UE 1 to 5, Semester 3
- Specific UE for each path: UE 6 to 10, Semester 3
- A UE stage organized by each path: UE11, Semester 4

The program attests to methodological research competences, with skills in technological innovations.

The program prepares students for research and teaching careers.
Evaluation Modalities
The TeCS path is primarily evaluated based on dossiers and oral presentations.
Target Audience
The program is open to all students holding an M1 (or equivalent). It is primarily aimed at students who have validated the M1 Health of the ISTR, as well as students with an M1 related to the objectives of the master.
Access Modalities
To apply for the M2 Health, candidates must submit a dossier. The application period for 2025 is from March 1, 2025, to May 1, 2025. Dossiers are studied by the pedagogical commission of the Master Health between May and June.
