The DEUST APN (Dipl¶me d'Etudes Universitaires Scientifiques et Techniques en Activitķs Physiques et Sportives) is a professional diploma that aims to train polyvalent professionals (sports educators and managers) who are immediately operational and capable of leading various physical and sports activities, as well as participating in the functioning and development of a company specialized in outdoor activities.

Program Objectives
The general objective of the program is to train professionals who are capable of:
- Leading several physical and sports activities, especially in the outdoors
- Participating in the functioning and development of a company specialized in outdoor activities The specific objectives of the first year are to develop technical, animation, and leadership skills in various physical activities, ensuring the safety of participants and integrating into a professional environment. The second year aims to consolidate these skills, enabling students to construct an intervention adapted to different publics, know the procedure for creating a company, and finalize their personal project for successful and durable professional integration.

The program is structured around 5 blocks of competences:

Evaluation Modalities
- The obtention of the DEUST APN requires having the average in each of the blocks of competences without possible compensation and a minimum note of 7/20 in each UE and/or each teaching.
- Certain teachings are subject to two examination sessions (session 1 and session 2: recovery) organized during the university year.
- A stage or alternation in a company of a minimum duration of 800h must be validated during the 2 years of formation.
Specificities and Prerequisites
- It is necessary to be a holder of a BAC or an equivalent title or to make a request for Validation of Personal and Professional Acquisitions (for those over 20 years old who have interrupted their initial studies for at least 2 years).
- The formation is selective and takes place in 2 times: admissibility (study of the dossier with a professional project in link with the activities of full nature and justificatifs) and admission (physical tests, written test of general culture, and oral interview).

- The professional insertion is very satisfactory both in the short term and in the medium term for those who pursue their studies (more than 80%). Many structures, both winter and summer, which welcome trainees during their training, hire the diploma holders at the end of their training.

Alternation Information
- The alternation is seasonal.
- The university training is concentrated essentially in autumn (September, October, and November) and spring (May and June).
