Program Overview

The Dipl獽e Inter-Universitaire (DIU) in Health is a university diploma that aims to provide professionals and health actors with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement and animate health care coordination actions.


Program Description

The program is designed for professionals and health actors who want to acquire expertise in coordinating health care pathways. The program is taught in French and is open to students who have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience.


Objectives

The objectives of the program are to:


  • Know the challenges of coordinating health actors
  • Understand the organization and functioning of the health system
  • Master the parameters of cooperation between health actors in the context of personalized health plans
  • Accompany teams in the implementation of personalized health plans
  • Master the tools for sharing information between health actors and participate in their evolution
  • Know the conditions associated with medical and social vulnerability
  • Know the aspects related to the care of specific populations (children, elderly, disabled, chronic diseases)

Program Structure

The program is taught over 2 semesters and includes:


  • 132 hours of theoretical teaching
  • A 10-day internship that can be non-consecutive, between February and April, unpaid
  • A roadbook with a professional project or conceptual memoir

Teaching Methods

The teaching methods used include:


  • Interactive courses between teachers and students
  • Group work for the development of the roadbook
  • Role-playing with situation-based training
  • An e-learning platform is made available at the end of each session
  • Accompaniment in methodology, bibliographic research, document writing, and case studies is organized throughout the year

Evaluation Methods

The evaluation methods include:


  • Attendance at teaching sessions (obligatory)
  • Case study (40%)
  • Oral presentation (20%)
  • Memoir (40%)
  • Roadbook appreciation by the pedagogical committee

Admission Criteria

The admission criteria include:


  • Being a professional or health actor with a diploma
  • Having a minimum of 2 years of professional experience
  • Providing a written agreement from the teaching manager
  • Submitting a application file to the pedagogical manager

Tuition Fees

The tuition fees are:


  • 2300 for individual funding
  • 2300 for employer funding

Program Schedule

The program schedule includes:


  • 9 sessions of 2 days each, from November to June
  • The sessions are held in Lyon, Grenoble, and Saint-Etienne
  • The exact dates and locations are communicated to students at the beginning of the academic year

  • Session 2: Presentation of coats of arms in Grenoble
  • Session 3: National distance course and presentation of research problems in Lyon
  • Session 4: National distance course and presentation of concrete cases in Grenoble
  • Session 5: Presentation of concrete cases and module on childhood disability
  • Session 6: Oral presentation of memoirs in Lyon
  • Stage: to be planned in January and February
