Program Overview

The Diplôme Inter-Universitaire (DIU) National d'Echographie Gynecologique et Obstetricale is a university diploma program offered by the Faculté de Médecine Lyon-Est in association with several other universities. Admission Criteria

  • Application Procedure:
    1. Obtain the agreement of the pedagogical manager.
    2. Administrative registration from August 25, 2025.
  • Maximum Number of Students: 27

Evaluation Methods

  • Theoretical Exam: A written exam on a digital platform, with a minimum score of 10 required to pass.
  • Simulator Exam: A practical exam on a simulator, which must be passed to validate the DIU.
  • Practical Exam: A final practical exam on a patient, with a minimum score of 10 required to pass.
  • Analysis of Professional Practices: Students must also validate their professional practices in ultrasound during the first trimester of pregnancy.
