Objectives
The program aims to:
- Provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the scientific basis of genetic medicine
- Equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complex ethical, philosophical, and societal implications of genetic research and its applications
- Foster a multidisciplinary approach, incorporating insights from medicine, psychology, philosophy, anthropology, and sociology
Curriculum

Assessment
Student evaluations will be conducted through written exams, case studies, and the completion of a thesis. Attendance at lectures and the level of results obtained in written and oral exams will be conditions for obtaining the DIU.
Competencies
Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:
- Understand the place of genetic medicine in society, considering historical, philosophical, ethical, ethnological, anthropological, sociological, and artistic perspectives.
- Know the modalities of genetic and epigenetic diagnosis, including the modes of transmission of genetic and epigenetic characteristics, and understand the implications of the quest for the "perfect" individual.
- Be aware of the prevention of genetic and epigenetic diseases, understanding the links between genetics, nutrition, aging, sport, sleep, and social connections.

The program is designed for practicing geneticists.
Admission Requirements
To apply, candidates must:
- Obtain the agreement of the pedagogical manager, submitting a detailed curriculum vitae and a letter of motivation.
- Complete the administrative registration process, which includes downloading, filling out, and submitting the required documents.
