The Diplôme Inter-Universitaire (DIU) in Imagerie en Pathologie Sportive is a university diploma offered by the Université Claude Bernard - LYON 1 in association with the Universités de NANCY 1. Duration and Organization
The program lasts for 1 year, with theoretical teaching (lectures in sessions) totaling 20 hours, practical teaching (workshops and guided work in sessions) totaling 50 hours, and other activities (courses, clinical cases, self-assessment online) totaling 60 hours. The teaching includes a series of seminars organized over two or three consecutive days in the participating universities.
Evaluation
The evaluation consists of:
- Compulsory attendance at the teaching sessions
- Pre-tests and post-tests to evaluate the needs and interest of the training
- A final exam in June and a possible retake in September, including a theoretical written test and clinical cases

Admission to the program requires:
- A curriculum vitae
- A letter of motivation
- Written authorization from the head of the teaching department
- The program is open to medical doctors concerned with sports pathology, including specialists and future specialists in osteo-articular and sports pathology
Tuition Fees
The tuition fees for the program are:
- 504 for internal DES students
- 604 for normal initial training
- 1100 for continuous training, either individually or employer-funded
