The DiplŰme Inter-Universitaire (DIU) in Pediatric General Medicine is a university diploma program designed for general practitioners who wish to acquire additional training in pediatric medicine.

Program Description

The program aims to provide general practitioners with the necessary skills and knowledge to diagnose and manage common pediatric conditions, as well as to recognize and treat pediatric emergencies. The program consists of three sessions, each lasting one week, and takes place over a period of one year.

Objectives

• To enable general practitioners to diagnose and manage common pediatric conditions
• To teach general practitioners how to request and interpret complementary exams
• To recognize and treat pediatric emergencies
• To accompany children and their families in the management of their illness
• To work in a network with other healthcare professionals

• Interactive courses with case studies (26 hours)
• Practical workshops (74 hours)
• No practical stages

Admission Criteria

To be eligible for the program, candidates must:

• Be a general practitioner with at least two years of experience
• Have a medical degree
• Submit a CV and a letter of motivation

Tuition Fees

The tuition fees for the program are:

• 1300 for individual registration
• 1300 for employer-sponsored registration

Evaluation

The program evaluation is based on:

• Attendance at courses (obligatory)
• Validation of each module (note 10/20)
• Cumulative note of all modules (note 10/20)
