The Formation d'ingťnieur, spťcialitť Matťriaux is a comprehensive program designed to equip students with expertise in the elaboration, characterization, and modeling of materials. The program aims to produce engineers who can effectively integrate into various professional sectors, including health, aeronautics, environment, and more.

  • Prepare engineers to intervene in all aspects of the material life cycle.

Admission

Admission to the program is via a national-level competition organized by the Polytech network. The competition is open to students from various backgrounds, including those with a Bac+2 degree seeking to enter the third year and those with a Bac+4 degree seeking to enter the fourth year.


Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission, candidates must:


  • Have validated 120 ECTS for entry into the third year.
  • Have validated 240 ECTS for entry into the fourth year.
  • Note that a Professional License does not allow entry into the Polytech network.

Application Procedure

The application procedure involves:


  • Registering for the Polytech competition from January 15, 2025, to April 3, 2025.
  • Submitting a dossier (for candidates from L2, L3, or having completed a specialty in IUT) before May 6, 2025.
  • Participating in an interview between June 11, 2025, and June 21, 2025, for selected candidates.

The Formation d'ingťnieur, spťcialitť Matťriaux is organized into six semesters over three years (3A, 4A, and 5A). Each semester consists of teaching units (UE) and sub-units (EC).
