Master MIAGE - Parcours BI: Business Intelligence

The Master MIAGE - Parcours BI (Business Intelligence) aims to train specialists in decision-making systems, internet technologies, machine learning, and knowledge extraction from data to create decision-making tools. This program is available in initial training, alternating training, and distance learning (continuing education).


Program Description

At the end of the training, students will acquire diverse skills in the digital and management fields, including:


  • Understanding and modeling business processes
  • Proposing technical solutions to evolve the information system
  • Accompanying the company in integrating a new system
  • Mastering methods for designing and implementing information systems
  • Applying project management methods
  • Creating, administering, analyzing an organization's data
  • Mastering methods and tools for data management and analysis
  • Acquiring, organizing, and securing a company's information
  • Mastering computer systems, programming, and web technologies
  • Analyzing and controlling a company's information systems

Program Structure

The MIAGE specialization in FOAD (Distance Learning) is composed of a classic M1 year and an M2 year, each with about a dozen UE (Teaching Units). The training is entirely semester-based.


Validation of Acquired Experience

The Master MIAGE diploma is also accessible through a Validation of Acquired Experience (VAE) process. A salaried employee who has accumulated years of professional experience can claim validation of their skills. The candidate constitutes a file in which they valorize their experience with the help of a tutor. After a hearing before a jury composed of teachers and industry professionals, the candidate can obtain total or partial validation of the MIAGE diploma.


Admission

The Master MIAGE in initial training is aimed at students with a degree in Computer Science or MIASHS (Mathematics, Computer Science, and Social Sciences). Foreign candidates with an equivalent diploma are also eligible.
