The License Professionnelle AVI program is designed to train buyers and sales professionals capable of identifying and analyzing foreign markets, developing a specification sheet, prospecting suppliers for international companies, negotiating contracts, and managing a distribution network. Graduates of this program master marketing and computer tools in the context of international business development and possess high linguistic skills.

• Students from 1st cycle training (BTS, DUT, license L2) in tertiary or scientific fields.
• Employees in the context of an individual training leave (CIF) or a training plan, or a professionalization contract for adults intended for job seekers.

Program Description

The program includes a foundation training with courses, practical work, case studies, and projects, covering topics such as:

• International communication: business English, Spanish, German, Italian, intercultural communication, applied computer science, project management.
• Positioning the company internationally: international trade law and industrial property, international marketing, industrial marketing, purchasing marketing.
• Developing international activity: international prospecting, international negotiation, international trade techniques, web marketing.
• Managing an international commercial project (tutored project).
• Entrepreneurship internationally (company-based path).
• Different courses are taught in English.

Specificities

The AVI license combines skills in import and export in the B-to-B and B-to-C fields. The program is characterized by a high level of specialization in international trade, in line with the current evolution of the economy and the demand of companies.

Attested Skills

Graduates will be able to:

• Perform international purchasing services: identify and validate the needs of the company's internal services, develop a specification sheet, prospect and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, monitor contract execution, and implement a continuous improvement system.
• Study foreign markets and prospect new outlets for the company, negotiate sales contracts, manage, inform, and control a distribution network.
• Process an export order, know the techniques, tools, and legislation for import and export payments.
• Master computer tools in the context of internal and external communication (with clients and suppliers).
• Have certain linguistic skills: current English and possibly another foreign language.

Alternation

The alternation is described as follows:

• Alternants follow a so-called "alternating" training, acquiring knowledge and skills through an alternating rhythm between periods spent in a training center and periods spent in a company.
• Over their 12-month training, alternants spend 16 weeks at the IUT and 36 weeks in a company (including paid leave).

Specificities and Prerequisites

• Imperative knowledge of two foreign languages: English AND German or Spanish or Italian.
