The Diplôme Inter-Universitaire (DIU) in Santé, with a focus on Cancer in Adolescents and Young Adults, is a comprehensive program designed to address the specific needs of this patient population. The program is a collaborative effort between Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, Université d'Angers, and Université Paris 7 Diderot.

Program Description

The program aims to provide healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver high-quality care to adolescents and young adults with cancer. The curriculum is divided into six modules, each focusing on a specific aspect of cancer care in this population, including epidemiology, treatment, and supportive care.

Admission Criteria

To be eligible for the program, candidates must:

• Hold a medical degree (MD) or be an intern in medicine
• Have a regular practice in oncology or a related field
• Submit their CV, diplomas, and a letter of motivation
• Be selected by the program's admission committee

Tuition Fees

The program fees are as follows:

• Initial training: 873
• Continuous training (individual): 1,500
• Continuous training (employer-sponsored): 1,500

Duration and Schedule

The program spans two semesters, with sessions taking place from October 2025 to June 2026.

Evaluation

Participants will be evaluated based on:

• Attendance (minimum 80% required)
• Online quizzes at the end of each module
• A final thesis
• Average score of at least 4 out of 6 modules
