Unit of Teaching: Communication Interpersonnelle

Description

The unit of teaching "Communication Interpersonnelle" is a 1 ECTS credit course that focuses on developing interpersonal communication skills.

Objectives

The objectives of this course are to:

• Practice interpersonal communication adapted to each professional context.
• Practice scientific and technical communication adapted to the concerned public.
• Use specific types of oral and written discourse in scientific and professional communications.

• Managing one's stress and emotions during presentations in front of an audience.
• Improving self-knowledge and knowledge of others: understanding social interactions and developing relational effectiveness.
• Mastering verbal, paraverbal, and non-verbal communication techniques to adapt the message to the context and audience.
• Knowing how to present a clear and structured expose or project.
• Writing effective supports and understanding the specificities of written discourse (scientific, technical, popularized).
• Simplifying a complex scientific text for a non-expert audience while maintaining scientific rigor.
• Mastering the requirements of technical documents and internship reports, respecting formal and professional constraints.

Program

The program of this course includes:

• Presentation of the components of communication: verbal, non-verbal, paraverbal.
• Presentation of different possible structures according to the communication objective.
• Presentation of a pitch model to introduce oneself.
• Presentation of feedback to sharpen critical thinking.
• Practical exercises in oral presentation of oneself using the pitch model in 1 minute.
• Presentation of the 4mat model (PNL) to present and convince.
• Group exercise in preparing and presenting oral presentations.
• Presentation of the "Les niveaux logiques" functioning model to focus one's discourse according to the audience's motivations.

Evaluation Methods

The evaluation methods for this course include:
