Introduction to the DEUST AGAPSC Program

The University of Lyon 1 offers a two-year alternating training program leading to the obtention of the "DEUST Animation and Management of Sports or Cultural Activities" - Animation Path diploma. This diploma is registered in the National Directory of Professional Certifications (RNCP) and allows its holder to exercise functions of animation in the field of sports and cultural activities, as well as management functions within structures organizing these practices.

Program Details

• The program is designed for candidates without age limits who have already acquired experience, whether voluntary, professional, or personal, in the field of sports or cultural animation.
• The training takes place over two years, with courses on Mondays and Tuesdays in person at the university, and distance learning (FOAD) on Thursday mornings.
• A minimum of 300 hours per year of training in "alternation" is required, which can take place on Wednesdays, Thursday afternoons, Fridays, and during school vacations.
• Several "alternation" options are possible, including:
  • Conventional internship
  • Professionalization contract
  • Apprenticeship contract
  • Civic service
  • Educational commitment contract / fixed-term contract

The formation is aimed primarily at candidates who have a project in this domain, who work in this sector and wish to obtain a qualification in sports and cultural animation, or who are interested in personalized complementary training.

Admission and Enrollment

• The recruitment campaign takes place on the PARCOURSUP platform.
• Candidates have until March 10, 2023, to register on Parcoursup and add their wishes.

Diploma and Certification

• The "DEUST Animation and Management of Sports or Cultural Activities" - Animation Path diploma is a level 5 diploma, allowing its holder to exercise specific professional functions.
• The diploma is recognized and registered in the National Directory of Professional Certifications (RNCP), ensuring its validity and recognition in the professional world.
