Objectives
The general objectives of the Parent Coaching program are to:
- Develop coaching groups for parents of children with ASD, aiming to increase the functionality and quality of life of the children and their families.
The specific objectives are to:
- Develop coaching groups for parents of children with ASD
- Improve the occupational performance of children with ASD and their families
- Improve the sense of maternal/paternal competence
- Increase the social participation of children with ASD and their families
- Train students for action in this area
- Stimulate the production of knowledge about the intervention of Occupational Therapy in attending to children with ASD and their families
