Introduction to the Specialization in Pharmacology EAD

The Specialization in Pharmacology EAD is designed to provide professionals with an update on fundamental topics in pharmacology, given the rapid evolution of scientific knowledge in this field. The program aims to equip participants with the necessary skills to critically evaluate new products and modernize therapeutic approaches using classical medications.

Objective

The objective of the Specialization in Pharmacology EAD is to offer improvement and updating in fundamental topics for professionals who deal directly or indirectly with medications, considering the rapid growth of information in pharmacology.

Methodology

The program will be offered in the distance education mode (EAD), utilizing platforms such as Moodle and Microsoft Teams. The teaching methodology includes synchronous activities (theoretical classes, exercise resolution/discussion, seminar presentation and discussion, and others) and asynchronous activities (screen activities, such as theoretical or practical video classes and guided activities). The program consists of 14 disciplines, totaling 375 hours.

Target Audience

The target audience for this specialization is professionals with a higher education degree in various biological and health areas, with a completed course in an institution recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC).

Investment

The investment for the program includes an inscription fee of R$ 50,00 and 18 monthly installments of R$ 475,00.

Program Overview

The program has a total duration of 375 hours, spread over 3 semesters, with classes held every other weekend, on Fridays from 18:30 to 22:30 and Saturdays from 8:00 to 12:00 and 13:30 to 17:30.

The selection process for the program includes:

• Inscription: from November 20, 2023, to December 15, 2023
• Selection: January 15, 2024, and January 19, 2024
• Result: January 22, 2024
• Enrollment: February 1, 2024, to February 16, 2024
• Start of classes: March 1, 2024
