Mobilidade Livre

Mobilidade Livre is a type of exchange program where the student directly contacts the destination university and completes all necessary procedures for acceptance independently. It is essential to clarify that the mobility will be in the form of Mobilidade Livre, making it clear that if there is an agreement between UFMG and the destination university, the student is not applying for those positions, as they did not go through the necessary selection process.

Program Details

• The student must contact the destination university and inform them that the mobility will be in the form of Mobilidade Livre.
• The student may have to pay fees, such as enrollment or tuition, which may not apply to those selected through the Edital Unificado.
• After receiving the acceptance letter from the destination university, the UFMG student must forward the document to the Setor de Mobilidade Internacional, informing the character of their mobility/program.
