Introduction to the Erasmus+ Program
The Erasmus+ program is the European Union's program in the fields of education, training, youth, and sport for the period. It aims to contribute to the development of personal and professional skills, promoting a sense of European citizenship and social responsibility among participants.
Priorities of the Program
The new Erasmus+ program will be more inclusive, digital, and environmentally friendly. It will support the transformation of the education and training system, promoting digital skills, inclusion, and diversity, as well as environmental protection and the fight against climate change.
Key Priorities
- Erasmus+ will be more inclusive, offering greater opportunities to people from diverse cultural, social, and economic backgrounds.
- Erasmus+ will be more digital, supporting the development of digital skills and offering high-quality digital training and exchanges.
- Erasmus+ will be more sustainable, promoting the use of more environmentally friendly modes of transport and investing in projects that raise awareness about environmental issues.
Actions of the Program
To achieve its objectives, the Erasmus+ program implements the following actions:
Action Key 1 (KA1): Mobility of Individuals
- Opportunities for students to learn in another country, including:
- Studies (Bachelor's, Master's, Doctoral) - SMS
- Traineeships in enterprises - SMP
- Erasmus+ Master's loans
- Opportunities for staff to undertake a learning or professional experience in another country, including:
- Receiving training (STT)
- Teaching (STA)
Action Key 2 (KA2): Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices
- Strategic partnerships to develop initiatives in one or more fields of education, training, and youth, promoting innovation, exchange of experiences, and competences between different types of organizations.
- Knowledge alliances between higher education institutions and businesses to stimulate innovation, entrepreneurship, creativity, employability, and multidisciplinary teaching and learning.
- Sectoral skills alliances to support the design and implementation of joint training programs and methodologies for teaching and training.
- Capacity building to support cooperation with partner countries in higher education and youth.
Action Key 3 (KA3): Support for Policy Reform
This action supports the reform of policies in the fields of education, training, and youth, promoting cooperation and the exchange of good practices between EU Member States and other countries.
