Introduction to the Program

The MA Education (Wales) Additional Learning Needs program is a transformative program designed to lead the sector for education professionals in Wales, from early career teachers to senior leaders with an interest in Additional Learning Needs. The educational landscape in Wales is changing rapidly, and it is essential to master a set of complex skills to teach, motivate, and facilitate student learning while also having the ability to inquire about professional practice to improve it. This program, developed in collaboration with seven universities in Wales, through direct involvement with a variety of key stakeholders including the Welsh Government, ensures that all education professionals in Wales have the same standard of opportunity to enhance their professional knowledge, engage 3
