Course Overview

The Engineering with Deferred Choice of Specialism with a Foundation Year is a four-year undergraduate degree that allows students to defer their choice of engineering specialism until the end of the foundation year. This course is designed for students who are interested in engineering but are unsure which specialism to pursue.

Modules

The foundation year consists of the following compulsory modules:


  • Fundamentals of Engineering Design (30 credits)
  • Foundation Mathematics for Engineers I (15 credits)

  • Foundation Mathematics for Engineers II (15 credits)
