Program Overview
Introduction to Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs)
Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) offer a unique opportunity for students to participate in a mobility programme, combining virtual and physical learning phases. This programme is designed to convince more students to take part in a mobility, particularly those who do not want to go abroad for an extended period.
Programme Details
The BIPs programme includes:
- A virtual and a physical learning phase, lasting between 5 to 30 days
- Attainment of at least 3 ECTS
- Designed by at least three Erasmus+ partner universities from at least three different programme countries
Funding and Support
- Funding is provided by the International Office of the JMU
- The programme is designed to support students from different backgrounds, particularly those with fewer opportunities
- Top-ups (one-time) for participants with limited opportunities:
- 100,- Euro for days 1-14
- 150,- Euro for days 15-30
- Green Travel: up to 6 travel days, 79,- Euro/travel day
Inclusion and Support
- The programme aims to create the best possible conditions for success, particularly for students with disabilities and chronic illnesses
- The International Office works hand in hand with the Contact and Information Centre for Students with Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses (KIS) to find individual solutions for each student
Programme Requirements
- A minimum lead time of six weeks is desirable to meet EU funding requirements
- The programme is designed to provide students with intercultural skills and interesting knowledge, with the possibility of participating in a long-term mobility programme in the future
