Program Overview
Master Management International
The Master Management International program is designed for ambitious students with a global outlook, aiming to build a successful international career. This two-year program is taught entirely in English and awards 120 ECTS credits.
Programme Structure
The program is divided into two years. In the first year, students build a strong foundation in advanced management principles, complemented by essential skills in economics, data science, research methods, and soft skills. The second year offers the opportunity to tailor education to career goals by specializing in one of four distinct tracks.
First Year
- Core Management: In-depth knowledge across various management disciplines, with the option to choose courses from a predefined pool (25 ECTS).
- Core Economics: A strong foundation in economics, with the option to select from a range of courses to deepen understanding of economic theories and applications (10 ECTS).
- Core Business Analytics: Development of skills in data science to analyze data and apply quantitative methods for well-informed management decisions (10 ECTS).
- Core Career Development: Opportunity to learn important language skills and soft skills for working in international teams (10 ECTS).
- Core Research: Essential skills in scientific work, including presenting research results clearly and applying scientific methods (5 ECTS).
Second Year
- Track Finance & Accounting: Advanced knowledge in finance, accounting, and taxation, preparing students for complex tasks at national and international levels (30 ECTS).
- Career opportunities: Investment banking, controlling, auditing, financial consulting, and management positions in international companies.
- Track Operations & Information Management: Analysis and optimization of business processes using modern technologies and data-driven strategies (30 ECTS).
- Career opportunities: Supply chain management, process optimization, IT management, and data-based management consulting.
- Track Marketing & Entrepreneurship: Development and implementation of innovative marketing strategies and fundamentals of entrepreneurship (30 ECTS).
- Career opportunities: Strategic marketing, product management, market research, and founding one's own startup or working in innovation management.
- Track Behavioral Economics: Examination and processing of behavioral economics issues, using data analysis methods to analyze socially relevant topics (30 ECTS).
- Career opportunities: Analysis and design of economic decision-making processes, behavioral policy evaluation, and data-driven consumer and user behavior research.
Master's Thesis
Towards the end of the program, students write their Master's thesis in their previously selected track, lasting six months (30 ECTS).
How to Apply
Application Calendar
The Master Management International program can only be started in the winter semester. Applications can be submitted until July 15. The application portal usually opens in mid to late January.
Application Requirements
- Language: English language skills at the level of B2, with alternatives such as TOEFL, IELTS, FCE Cambridge Certificate, or Pearson PTE Academic Test.
- Competencies: Admission requires a Bachelor's degree in business management or economics covering core competencies in management, economics, and methods.
- Final Grade: Only applicants with a Bachelor grade better than 2.0 can be admitted directly. Otherwise, a GMAT exam with at least 565 points is required.

A semester abroad offers a great opportunity to gain international study experience, get to know other cultures, and broaden personal horizons. The program allows for a semester abroad in the second half, with numerous partner universities in European and non-European countries.
