Inkluzivna Pedagogika Program

The Inkluzivna Pedagogika program is designed to equip students with comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of inclusive pedagogy.


Program Overview

The program aims to develop professionals with a broad understanding of inclusive pedagogy, enabling them to work with vulnerable groups of children and adolescents. The program focuses on researching and acquiring new insights into the theory and practice of inclusive pedagogy, developing new models and methods, and sensitizing pedagogical workers to the needs of marginalized groups.


Program Structure

The program is a two-year master's study program, offering the possibility of continuing studies at the third level.


Target Audience

The program is intended for individuals who want to pursue a career in inclusive pedagogy, particularly those interested in working with children and adolescents with special needs, from diverse cultural backgrounds, or from socio-economically disadvantaged groups.


Program Objectives

Upon completing the program, students will be able to:


  • Deepen their knowledge of inclusive concepts and conditions that ensure inclusive processes
  • Understand and research the structure, dynamics, and culture of various educational institutions, applying their knowledge to ensure high-quality professional work
  • Develop critical reflection skills to analyze processes, relationships, situations, and factors that enable or hinder inclusivity
  • Organize, coordinate, implement, monitor, and analyze various forms of inclusive pedagogical work
  • Influence processes that create conditions for cooperation, equal opportunities, and fairness in the education system
  • Reflect on conditions that contribute to non-discriminatory work, respect for diversity, and the development of practical approaches to inclusive work

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the program, candidates must have completed one of the following study programs:


  • A first-cycle study program in a relevant field (pedagogy, andragogy, social pedagogy, special and rehabilitative pedagogy, logopedics and surdopedagogy, etc.) with at least 180 credit points, without additional obligations
  • A first-cycle study program in another field, with at least 180 credit points, provided that the candidate completes additional study obligations (10-60 credit points) before enrollment
  • A higher professional study program, adopted according to legal provisions valid before June 11, 2004, in a relevant field
  • A higher professional study program, adopted according to legal provisions valid before June 11, 2004, in another field, provided that the candidate completes additional study obligations (10-60 credit points) before enrollment
  • Candidates who have completed equivalent education abroad can also apply, under the same conditions as candidates who completed their studies in Slovenia

Selection Criteria

In case of limited enrollment, the selection criteria are:


  • Average grade of the first-cycle study program (60%)
  • Grade of the diploma or other form of completion of the study program (10%)
  • Completed education in the field of education and upbringing of risk groups of children and adolescents, counseling, personal development, management, and organization (30%)
