Doctoral Study Program in Kinesiology

Organization of Studies

The study program is organized into:

Research Work

The research work is individual and supervised by a mentor. Students are expected to:


  • Participate in Conferences: With a presentation of their research work

Doctoral Dissertation

The doctoral dissertation is an original contribution to science and must be prepared in accordance with the University's regulations. The dissertation is defended publicly, and the student must demonstrate their ability to defend their research work.


Mentorship

Each student is assigned a mentor who guides them throughout their studies. The mentor is responsible for:


  • Supervising the Student's Research Work
  • Guiding the Student in Choosing Courses
  • Ensuring the Student Meets the Requirements for the doctoral dissertation

Study Abroad

Students can spend up to two semesters studying at another university, either in Slovenia or abroad, and can transfer up to 60 ECTS credits.
