Program Description

The primary goal of the program is to enable students to design and implement inclusive educational and rehabilitation programs for individuals with special needs in various settings and at all stages of life. Students will acquire:

• Basic theoretical knowledge and understanding of pedagogy and rehabilitation of individuals with special needs
• Competences for practical work in assessing and planning educational and rehabilitation programs
• Skills for communication and teamwork with educational professionals and parents or guardians of individuals with special needs
• Additional knowledge in selected areas through elective courses and project work
• Fundamental knowledge for continuous professional development in lifelong learning

Professional Title

Upon completion, graduates will be awarded the title of:

• Professor specialne in rehabilitacijske pedagogike (UN) / prof. spec. in reh. ped. (UN)
• Professorica specialne in rehabilitacijske pedagogike (UN) / prof. spec. in reh. ped. (UN)
• English equivalent: Bachelor of Arts / B.A.

Admission Requirements

For the academic years 2025/2026 to 2028/2029, admission requirements include:

• Completion of a general high school diploma or any four-year secondary school program before June 1, 1995

Selection Criteria

In case of limited enrollment, candidates will be selected based on:

• General success in the general high school diploma or final exam (60% of points)
• General success in the 3rd and 4th year of high school (40% of points)
