Program Description
The primary goal of the Kozmetologija program is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of cosmetic products, their composition, and effects on the skin, mucous membranes, hair, and nails. Students will gain knowledge about natural and synthetic materials used in cosmetic products, as well as their desired, harmful, and toxic effects. The program covers the planning, design, and manufacture of cosmetic products, including approaches to evaluating their stability, safety, and efficacy.
Graduate Profile
Graduates of the Kozmetologija program will be able to independently monitor scientific achievements in cosmetology and adapt them to the needs of their professional and research fields. The program provides a foundation for lifelong professional and scientific training.

Admission Requirements
For the academic years from 2025/2026 to 2028/2029, admission to the Kozmetologija program is possible for:
- Those who have completed general matriculation,
- Those who have completed vocational matriculation in programs of secondary vocational education or technical education (e.g., pharmaceutical technician, horticultural technician, chemical technician, cosmetic technician) and have passed an exam in a subject of general matriculation (biology, chemistry, physics, or biotechnology),
- Those who completed any four-year secondary school program before June 1, 1995.
All candidates must demonstrate knowledge of the Slovenian language at the B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) with appropriate certification.
Selection Criteria
In case of limited enrollment, candidates will be selected based on:
- For candidates from points a) and c): general success in general matriculation or final exam (60% of points), and general success in the 3rd and 4th year of secondary school (40% of points),
- For candidates from point b): general success in vocational matriculation (40% of points), general success in the 3rd and 4th year of secondary school (40% of points), and success in the subject of general matriculation (20% of points).
