Bachelor of Property Economics/Bachelor of Business
The Bachelor of Property Economics/Bachelor of Business is a double degree that combines the study of property economics with a business specialization. This course is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the property industry, as well as provide a broad understanding of business principles and practices.
Course Overview
The property sector is one of Australia's largest industries and the second-largest employer. This course combines property economics and a business specialization to provide students with a unique skill set, enabling them to optimize returns and manage the performance of properties, think creatively and critically, communicate professionally, make ethical business decisions, and work in a global context.
Course Structure
The course consists of 384 credit points, including 180 credit points for the Bachelor of Property Economics program and 180 credit points for the Bachelor of Business program, as well as 24 credit points of QUT You. The Bachelor of Property Economics component consists of 16 units, including 48 credit points of core units and 132 credit points of property economics major discipline units. The Bachelor of Business component consists of 7 business core units and 9 business major units.

Admission Requirements
- ATAR/selection rank threshold: 70.00
- Assumed knowledge: English, or Literature, or English and Literature Extension, or English as an Additional Language (Units 3 & 4, C), and General Mathematics, or Mathematical Methods, or Specialist Mathematics (Units 3 & 4, C)
- Offer guarantee: If you achieve an ATAR or selection rank of 70.00 or higher and satisfy all other admission requirements, you are guaranteed an offer for this course.
English Language Requirements
International students must meet the minimum English language requirements, which include:
- IELTS Academic: Overall 6.5, with no band less than 6.0
- Cambridge English: Overall 176, with no band less than 169
- PTE Academic: Overall 58, with no band less than 50
- TOEFL iBT: Overall 79, with no band less than 16 (reading), 16 (listening), 21 (writing), and 18 (speaking)
