Diploma in Creative Industries/Bachelor of Design - International

The Diploma in Creative Industries/Bachelor of Design - International is a four-year full-time course that provides students with foundational creative industries skills, followed by a Bachelor of Design - International degree. This course is subject to final university approval.


Course Overview

  • The course consists of 96 credit points for the diploma and 288 credit points for the Bachelor of Design - International.
  • Students complete eight units (96 credit points) in the diploma, comprising seven discipline-specific units and one academic skills unit.
  • Upon successful completion of the diploma, students are guaranteed entry into the second year of the Bachelor of Design - International with a choice of majors in fashion design, industrial design, interaction design, or visual communication.

Admission Requirements

  • ATAR/selection rank threshold: 60.00
  • Assumed knowledge: English, or Literature, or English and Literature Extension, or English as an Additional Language (Units 3 & 4, C)
  • Offer guarantee: If you achieve an ATAR or selection rank of 60.00 or higher and satisfy all other admission requirements, you are guaranteed an offer for this course.
  • VET guarantee: If you have completed an AQF certificate III, certificate IV, diploma, or higher, and satisfy all other admission requirements, you are guaranteed an offer for this course.

Fees

  • 2026 fees: CSP $13,400 per year full-time (96 credit points) for domestic students, and $27,000 per course (96 credit points) for international students.
  • Student services and amenities fees may apply.
