The Diploma in Entrepreneurship/Bachelor of Information Technology is a double degree program designed to help students develop an entrepreneurial mindset and practical IT skills. This course is only available for Australian and New Zealand students.

• The program combines a diploma in entrepreneurship with a bachelor's degree in information technology.

• The course is delivered over 3 years full-time or 6 years part-time.

Delivery and Duration

• Delivery: Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove campuses.
• Duration: 3 years full-time, 6 years part-time.
• Course starts: February and July.

Entry Requirements

• ATAR/Selection rank threshold: 60.00.
• Assumed knowledge: English, or Literature, or English and Literature Extension, or English as an Additional Language (Units 3 & 4, C).
• Offer guarantee: If you achieve an ATAR or selection rank of 60.00 or higher and satisfy all other admission requirements, you are guaranteed an offer for this course.
• VET guarantee: If you have completed an AQF certificate III, certificate IV, diploma, or higher, and satisfy all other admission requirements, you are guaranteed an offer for this course.

Course Structure

• Diploma in Entrepreneurship: You must complete 96 credit points to meet the course requirements for the Information Technology pathway.
• Bachelor of Information Technology: The degree structure consists of 288 credit points, including core units, a major, QUT You, and complementary studies.
• Upon completion of the Diploma in Entrepreneurship, you will complete the remaining 192 credit points of the Bachelor of Information Technology.
