Program Structure

Diploma in Creative Industries

• Students complete eight units (96 credit points) comprising of seven discipline-specific units and one academic skills unit.
• Upon successful completion of the diploma, students will be automatically offered a place in the Bachelor of Design with 96 credit points (one year) of advanced standing (credited).

Bachelor of Design

• The Bachelor of Design structure consists of 288 credit points.
• The program includes core introductory units, a design major, QUT You, and complementary studies.
• Upon completion of the Diploma in Creative Industries, students will complete the remaining 192 credit points of the Bachelor of Design.
