The university program offers a practical internship, also known as a "praktick· st·," which is a work experience program for international institutions. The program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in their field of study.

Program Details

• The program consists of a work experience for a foreign institution, with a workload of approximately 40 hours per week.
• The internship cannot be used to fulfill the requirements of a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral thesis.
• The program can be completed during any stage of study (bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D.).
• The internship can be used to fulfill mandatory practice requirements.
• The program duration is a minimum of 2 months and a maximum of 12 months.
• The program is not tied to the academic year schedule, allowing students to participate during summer breaks or other times.

Financing

The Erasmus+ mobility program provides financial support for students participating in the internship.

Application Process

To apply for the program, students must:

1. Monitor their faculty's website for information on the selection process and deadlines.
2. Choose a foreign institution for their internship.
   • Students can search for institutions based on their preferences and individual requirements.
   • They can also respond to offers posted on their faculty's website or use the Charles Abroad platform to find opportunities.
3. Submit an application through the university's web application.
   • If the chosen institution is already listed in the university's database, students can click on "Apply" and fill out the form.
   • If the institution is not listed, students must contact their faculty's Erasmus+ coordinator to add the institution to the database.
   • Students must also provide any required documents, such as a letter of consent from their supervisor or a confirmation of preliminary acceptance from the foreign institution.
