Introduction to the Erasmus+ Program
The Erasmus+ program is considered a significant opportunity for international cooperation by the Pedagogical Faculty of Charles University, aiming to achieve a European dimension in teacher preparation. This cooperation enables students to gain valuable experiences at foreign universities and acquire the latest knowledge and practical experiences in the field of education. It also offers academic staff the opportunity to lecture at foreign universities, exchange and share knowledge with their foreign colleagues in the scientific fields they are involved in, and administrative staff to familiarize themselves with solutions to some common problems.
Program Structure and Activities
The Erasmus+ program encompasses several key activities, including:
- KA1: Learning Mobility of Individuals
- KA2: Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices
- KA3: Support for policy reform
- Jean Monnet Activities
- Sport
Mobility Options
Students can choose from three types of mobility:
- Studijní mobility (Study Mobility)
- Praktické stáe (Practical Internships)
- Absolventské stáe (Graduate Internships)
Program Management and Coordination
The program is coordinated by:

- Each department of the Pedagogical Faculty has a staff member responsible for the ERASMUS student mobility agenda
