Program Overview

The Faculty of Mathematics and Physics UK (Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University) offers a preparatory course in mathematics for high school students.


Course Details

The course will take place from January 14 to April 22, 2026, every Wednesday from 16:00 to 17:30, in classroom M1, building Ke Karlovu 3.


Admission Requirements

To participate in the course, students must submit an application and pay a fee of 1,500 CZK. The application can be submitted electronically through the university's information system from November 1, 2025, to January 11, 2026.

The course will cover the following topics:


  • Linear equations and their systems, quadratic equations, linear and quadratic inequalities, linear and quadratic functions
  • Trigonometric functions, trigonometric equations, trigonometry
  • Combinatorics
  • Complex numbers
  • Planimetry, multiple points of a given property
  • Identical representations, sameness, similarity
  • Exponential and logarithmic functions and equations
  • Analytical geometry of linear shapes
  • Kueloseks
  • Sequences, limit of sequences, infinite geometric series
  • Stereometry

Certificate of Completion

Upon completing the course, participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
