Program Overview

The program is designed to connect with God on a deeper level in the great outdoors at Maple Dell. With home base being located at Maple Dell BSA Camp in beautiful Payson Canyon, participants will be surrounded by trees and shade as they hike through mountain terrain, mountain bike on beautiful trails, and zip line through camp.

• Location: Maple Dell BSA Camp, Payson Canyon
• Duration: 6 days (various sessions available)

• Price: $800

Program Schedule

The program schedule includes:

• Gospel Instruction and Discussions: 16 hours
• Adventure Activities: 12 hours
• Games/Structured Socializing: 3 hours
• Dances: 4 hours
• Variety Show: 1 hour
• Free Time/Additional Adventures: 6 hours

Accommodations

• Tents and cots are provided for all participants
• Participants must bring their own warm sleeping bag and other necessary items

Session Information

• Sessions begin at BYU campus in Provo
• Check-in/out procedures will be conducted at the BYU Continuing Education building
• Participants will be bussed from BYU to Maple Dell and back again as part of the program

Weather and Packing

• Payson Canyon can be very warm during the day but cold at night
• Regular rain showers frequent the area during the summer
• Participants must plan and pack accordingly
• Further information, including suggested packing lists, will be sent in pre-session emails
