Course Details

• The BYU Independent Study course has a separate must-pass final exam that students are required to take in order to earn course credit.
  • This final exam is different from the AP exam, which students must take on their own.
• BYU Independent Study does not administer the AP exam as part of the course experience, and the AP exam fee is not included in the course tuition.
  • Students will need to find a local school to administer the AP exam using the AP Course Ledger.
  • Schools have an exam-ordering deadline of November 15.
• The AP instructor will send students a join code to create an AP Classroom account and join their course section on the AP website.
