Program Overview

The Informatikk-Matematikk-リkonomi (Bachelor's Program) is a unique study that combines technology, mathematics, and economics. This program teaches students to use these competencies to solve complex problems in business and society. Students learn to program, analyze data, and understand economic theories, making them attractive candidates in the job market.

Study Environment

As an IMリ student, you become part of an environment of skilled and active computer science students at the High Technology Center. You will also have subjects at the Department of Economics and the Mathematical Institute.


Typical Week

During a typical week, you will have six lectures and three seminar groups. The teaching and literature are in Norwegian and English. The program is based at the High Technology Center, where there are dedicated reading rooms for computer science students.

  • Admission Requirements: REALFA (general study competence) in addition to Mathematics R1 (or S1 and S2). You must also have either:

    • Chemistry 1 and 2
    • Biology 1 and 2
    • Information Technology 1 and 2
    • Geoscience 1 and 2
