Introduction to the Project Management Program
The University of Freiburg's Connected Services project, "Grundlagen des Projektmanagements" (Fundamentals of Project Management), aims to create optimal conditions for successful projects in the administrative area of the university. This goal is based on the understanding that organizations with a high proportion of projects have a significantly higher innovation success rate, as stated by Prof. Dr. Yvonne Schoper in her study on the macroeconomic measurement of project activity in Germany.

The project introduces international project management standards and proven methods and tools to the University of Freiburg. It also provides information and templates for effective team and stakeholder management. Additionally, the Internal Continuing Education offers training in project management and design thinking.
Project Status
The project was completed in December 2021. The goal is to establish a basis for professional, effective, and successful project management in all areas of the university and to establish common standards.
