Course Curriculum on Leadership in Science

The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Freiburg offers a leadership training course specifically designed for (advanced) clinician scientists and medical scientists. This program aims to prepare participants for extensive leadership functions as their careers progress in science and/or the clinic.

• Fellows of the intramural structured funding programs (e.g., Berta-Ottenstein-Program, Hans A. Krebs Medical Scientist Program)
  • IMM-PACT
  • IMMediate
• Fellows of the structured qualification programs (e.g., IMM-PACT, IMMediate)
• Fellows of excellence programs (e.g., Emmy Noether-Programme, Heisenberg Programme, European Research Council Starting Grant/Consolidator Grant)

Course Description

• The course is conducted in an interactive workshop format, consisting of 4 modules, each lasting 2-2.5 days.
• The course takes place outside the premises of the Medical Center University of Freiburg in the city of Freiburg.
• The course language is German.
• The maximum number of participants is 12.
