The program in Periodontology and Implant Therapy is designed to provide approved dentists with scientific foundations and practical skills in the diagnosis and therapy of periodontal diseases over six semesters.

  • Successfully completed studies in dentistry at a German university (or equivalent degree)
  • Dental approval
  • Mind. two years of professional experience (At least two years of professional experience)

  • English language skills level B1 (English language skills level B1)
• Format: Part-time online study program with face-to-face phases (blended learning), tutoring support (accompanied by tutoring)
• Degree: Master of Science (MSc)
• Credits: 120 CP after ECTS (120 ECTS credits)

Program Structure

The online components of the study serve to convey theoretical knowledge, with participants being intensively supervised by trained teletutors. The presence phases are reserved for practicing practical-operational skills. Due to the increasing aging of society and the continuously growing awareness of dental health, the demand for periodontal therapy measures will increase in the future, and the field of periodontology will continuously gain importance.
