Program Overview

Introduction to the RN-to-MSN Program

The RN-to-MSN program is an accelerated path to earning both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree. This program combines elements of the BSN and MSN programs, allowing students to earn both degrees in less time and for less money than earning each separately.

Program Overview

  • The program is designed for registered nurses with a baccalaureate degree in another discipline or those without a baccalaureate degree but with the background and interest in pursuing leadership and specialty preparation at the master's level.
  • Students can choose to specialize in one of three areas: Community/Public Health Nursing, Nursing Leadership and Management, or Nursing Informatics.
  • The program can be completed in as little as 2 years, with varying formats depending on the specialty chosen.
  • Tuition and fees vary, with in-state tuition at $926/credit hour and out-of-state tuition at $1,643/credit hour.
  • The program requires 69-71 credits and is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
