The online RN-to-BSN program is a competency-based education program that focuses on demonstrating knowledge, skills, and attitudes as students progress through their education. The program requires at least 59 prerequisite credits and 30 credits for a valid registered nursing license.

Program Format
The program is offered fully online, with the option to attend full-time or part-time, and beginning in either the fall or spring semester. An optional three-course interest area in Care Coordination with Health IT or Substance Use and Addictions is available.

As a student in the online RN-to-BSN program, you will:
- Select three elective courses to specialize in an area of your choice
- Complete a community/public health practicum during your final semester

Admission Requirements
Competitive candidates for admission typically exhibit an academic and professional background that includes:
- An overall GPA of 2.5
- A preferred science GPA of 2.75
- Experience in nursing
