Module Description
The module "Landskabs- og ejendomsanalyse samt det ĺbne lands planlćgning" (Analysis of Landscapes and Properties in Rural Planning) is a course offered by Aalborg University.
Learning Objectives
Students who complete this module will acquire the following knowledge and skills:
Knowledge
- Knowledge of land use structure development, historical land reforms, and historical landscape development as a challenge and background for municipal planning
- Knowledge of property types and ownership forms in the multifunctional landscape
- Knowledge of land parcel formation and active land policy in the planning and negotiation process
- Knowledge of multifunctional and targeted land allocation in relation to afforestation, climate initiatives, extensification of agriculture, promotion of nature diversity, nature restoration, protection of groundwater resources, and recreational uses
- Knowledge of property-based data collections
- Knowledge of the application of geographic analyses on property data
- Knowledge of authority-created geodata, including property data, for use in planning and regulation
- Knowledge of spatial decision support systems
Skills
- Skills in applying methods for property-related preliminary investigations
- Skills in applying property-related data collections when creating GIS analyses
- Skills in applying methods for screening the landscape for land allocation needs
Competences
- Competences to combine knowledge of the planning and regulation system with methods for analyzing concrete landscapes
- Competences to combine methods used in spatial decision support systems
- Competences to combine methods for geographic modeling of themes in the open countryside
- Competences to combine relevant fields of study in connection with landscape analysis and thematization of the landscape and agriculture in municipal planning
